After looking for a cheap-ish headset, I found this one with its 7.1 digital surround sound, which is quite nice. Everything sounds really good, especially in games and listening to music. The lighting is one, set sequence that fades every colour, which looks quite pleasant when hanging them up and not wearing them.
Also, being a USB headset is nice and simple. Not splitter cables or audio jacks to mess with. The USB cable is also braided, which I hope leads to a fairly long lasting durability. The USB PC Headphones, has a USB port, EKSA E1000 is a professional gaming headset compatible with PC (Windows 7/8/10), PS4/PS5 console, laptops, and other devices with a USB audio port. My main gripe is the built-in microphone. It doesn’t have the best quality in the world, and almost makes me sound like I’m talking through a cheap radio instead of a proper microphone, however I mainly invested in this headset for the sounds and looks.
I have a separate desktop microphone on a boom arm anyway, so the mic on the headset would only be a backup for me.
Overall, I would recommend the headset, despite the microphone being a bit poor. Perhaps you don’t mind how you would sound through it, in which case, definitely go for it. It’s served me well for a couple of months so far at the time of writing.
Having never heard of EKSA before I took a chance to purchase the RGB headset. I was surprised when it arrived, it came in a nice box and when I opened up the headset it sat in a thick leather carry case. There are also two small instruction manuals which are easy to understand. The usb cable is really thick and is covered in a braided fabric and really sturdy. The sound quality is really clear and again surprised me again.
That’s why in my opinion this Gaming Headset E1000 from EKSA, is one of the best Gaming Headset’s in the market at moment.
Thanks,
